YA Debut Author Challenge line up!

This year I am going to try and be more organized so that means WRITING down the name of a book when I read it so I can remember when it comes to my challenges..I am so bad about this. I signed up for this  challenge last year but don't know if I did so well, so I am trying again. :)  This year I will not be signing up to that many challenges cause I never seem to actually finish them. I just like this one! :)

Kristi at The Story Siren host this challenge so if you want to sign up just head on over to her blog. The plan is to read at least 12 debut authors novels. I love reading debuts and a lot of the books look really good so I might put a list down of what I think I am going to read but it will probably change. It always does. :) Check out the goodread link for all the cool books!

My List:

1) Article 5 by Kristin Simmons
2) Croak by Gina Damico
3) Scarlet by A. C. Gaughen
4) Storybound by Marissa Burt
5) Ripper by Amy Carol Reeves
6) Katana by Cole Gibsen
7)  Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
8) Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard
9) Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
10) Innocent Darkness by Suzanne Lazear
11) The Sinister Sweetness of Splendid Academy by Nikki Loftin
12) Venom by Fiona Paul

Extra: Cabinets of the Earth by Anne  Nesbet (Sorry to say its not really my thing.) Came out January.

List is subject to change as I find more debut authors I might want to read and don't read these. :)

Now that is exciting. I sure would love to join in one of those contests someday. Been seeing a lot of contests in blogs these days, is that a trend now? Haha.

Good luck! Send us some updates. :)

Wow! Super-flattered to see VENOM on such a short list. Keep an eye out for a cover reveal in the next few weeks *squee* I can't wait.

Thanks for your interest and happy holidays.

That's a great idea! There are so many established authors out there, that it is difficult for debut authors to get noticed.
